Worked out in the school because it was the first really cold day, snowy, the whole team worked out inside. 30 minutes, getting the speed up whenever I could. Felt really good on the faster portions.

Had fun, didn't feel great, but I felt like I was able to push through. Definitely not my best race, I felt a little conservative on the Valley Loop, but I was dead by the end. Gave it a good run.

5 mile farlek, did it with the old man coach. Overall, averaged about 7:15 ish. On the faster part had a 2:45 half mile and similiar times on the faster parts. 4 faster sessions during it.

Long run, 71 minutes, closed in a 7:22. Felt tired from fartlek and more miles. Under 8 minute average I was pleased with.

Felt pretty good, 52 minutes for my time overall. Pushed earlier in the run than I usually do and as a result had a solid time for me.

Went on an easy run in preperation of a harder day tomorrow. Went out slow, had one quicker mile that felt easy that was about a 6:33 mile, and then came back really easy. Overall I averaged 8 minute miles, so I went real slow on the slow parts.

Had a good 4 mile time trial. We ran by the high school on the roads. It's 1 mile each way, so it's easy to get splits. 1st mile, a little uphill 6:21, 2nd mile slightly downhill, 6:36, 3rd mile, slightly downhill, 6:34, 4th mile, slightly uphill 6:33. Overall it was a good run for me and it was 4 minutes faster than when I did it the last time which was sophmore year I did it in 30:15.

Due to the snowy weather, most of the team stayed inside. We did an alternating of biking, running and treadmill running. Had some bursts of hard effort but overall an easier day.

I felt great surprisingly. After a late night studying, I thought that I would feel very sluggish, and I did before the run. After the warm up we started out at what felt like an easy pace. I was running with Cody and my coach Rob, and they helped push me. We went 5.5 miles, and averaged about a 7 10 pace. What made me the most excited was that I felt good the entire run. I felt like it was easy to talk until probably the last mile. This is the best shape I have ever been in, and I hope to build on it...

Had to do two separate runs. I wanted to simply do a 10 miler, but since we are going on a surprise trip to Disneyland and had to travel to st. George I had to do 5 in the morning and only 4.5 on the treadmill at the hotel. The first one I ran 36:08, with a 7 30 cool down mile. I was feeling pretty good. At the hotel I felt a little sluggish still able to run fast. I ran .75 miles for a warm up at 8 minute pace, then did 7 30 Pace for the next 1.25, then did the last 2.5 at around 7 minute pace, and I finished hard. I felt like a combination of mo farah, because I was on the treadmill, and cam levins doing a late night run haha. Overall, a decent, not as planned day.

Today was a Disneyland day. We got up at 6 and got hotel at roughly 11 15. So I ran after that and finished at like 12 15, 1 15 at home, I biked 10, ellipticalled 10 min. And the ran the rest felt ok. My legs felt really beat up after walking and standing all day..

Could be 8 ish miles.. Ran 4, at 7 30, that felt a little too hard. Did 10 min biking, 18 elliptical, 15 swimming lightly. No Disneyland or anything. Felt okish, probably my best training day. I have a funny story, but I'll write it later. We'll not very funny, but maybe you'll smile Cody, msyb..cause you're the only one who reads this.. But.. Finished the 6 in about 43 highish. The legs felt very heavy again, but ran pretty decent. Very very late run.went straight from run into 5 minute mile pace. Ran at that pace for 2:30. Again, not incredibly hard, but look at that time, and then my 800 m pr, and it makes me think that the treadmill helped a lot. During track last year I started hitting 75-77s, but then got injured so it'll be interesting to see if I'm in that kind of shape...

I was very tired today. The heavy ness from the legs from yesterday was still there, except even worse. Did the first 2 miles at 7 minute pace, but then had to slow down. Biked 5 min, ellipticalled 9 min. Was going to do an extra Mille, but shut it down early because I felt so bad. I can't wait until I can actually go out on a run instead of trying to endure a never ending workout. I honestly think the roads will help. Also, yesterday and today were Disneyland days. I have to walk 6 miles at the very very least, probably more and I think that is what is killing my legs. Today was the very last dl day..
